DevLog #1 & 2: The One Door to Everything

So what did I see in my vision?

  • Revolving Door

I find revolving doors super fun, something about just spinning in a revolving door just never gets old. I could spin in a revolving door for so long, if I had to make a door it would have to be revolving.

  • Clear

Basically, the door has glass windowing like most normal revolving doors.

  • Multi-Dimensional

Every time you fully spin the door, the destination changes. I was very inspired by the likes of liminal spaces and the Backrooms to think the door would work like that. 

  • "Masks the environment"

You can't see the destination until you exit the other side, and can't see where you came from when you get in. It will look like you're in space when you enter the door, with a bunch of stars and nebulas surrounding you, a white light where the exit is to know where to leave, as well as a black light where the entrance is to know how to get out.
